RIGHT TRACK, a not-for-profit organization established in the year 1991 by a group of social workers in the district of South 24 Parganas of West Bengal, India who had devoted themselves for creating a just and equitable social environment. They have started work on the issues of protection of public interest and protection of women and children, education, health and livelihood generation. Organisation worked for improving quality of life of disadvantaged children in Kolkata and South 24 Parganas. The core intervention areas are livelihood, education, health, protection of rights of the marginalized, skill development, environment awareness, child protection. Already, implemented several development projects in rural and urban West Bengal. Partnering with communities, government, civil society organizations, National and International social development supporters-donors.
Right Track has credibility of conducting social research studies viz. Child Labour, School infrastructure & Mid-day meal, Slum conditions, Making Government School functional, Education Committee, Integrated Child Development Scheme. These studies are tool for advocacy that Right Track founders do since 1988. Also, Right Track is continuously doing advocacy for the marginalized, and minorities to protect the rights.
