Soshisha, Minamata Disease Center/ Minamata Disease Museum
Soshisha was established in 1974, aimed to support Minamata Disease patients, who sufferers methyl mercury poisoning caused by industrial pollution. Minamata Disease Museum was established in 1988 to convey the story of the incidents.
