Omah Munir
Omah Munir Museum is one of the Indonesian human rights museums dedicated to the late human rights lawyer, Munir Said Thalib, who was murdered in 2009. Located in Kota Batu, East Java Province, the museum provides information related to the history of Indonesian human rights struggles, especially the story about Indonesian human rights defenders. The museum was first opened for the public since December 2013, and now is temporarily closed following the construction of new building, with a more comprehensive information and a larger building. Since its first establishment, the museum is managed by Yayasan Omah Munir (Omah Munir Foundation), a legal basis for the administration and management of the museum.
